Rios Zertuche, González Lutteroth y Rodríguez® (“RGR”) is pleased to announce the incorporation of José Domingo Pérez Galindo and Roberto Ruy- Sánchez Guerrero as members of RGR, joining the practices of Mergers and Acquisitions, Corporate Governance and Project Finance.
José Domingo Pérez Galindo
Graduated from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM), where he obtained his Law degree in 2017. He has completed postgraduate diploma programs in Corporate Law at the Escuela Libre de Derecho, Economic Competition at the Centro de Investigación y Docencia Económicas, A.C. (CIDE), and Corporate Finance at the Universidad de las Américas Puebla.
José Domingo has experience in corporate law matters, corporate restructurings, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), capital raising, divestitures, structured finance transactions and has advised various business groups in resolving and documenting agreements related to shareholder disputes.
His professional experience combines advising clients through top-tier law firms with his role as in-house counsel at investment funds characterized by a high level of activity in the structuring of investments.
Roberto Ruy-Sánchez Guerrero
Roberto holds a Law Degree with honors from Universidad Iberoamericana ever since 1988. Has been a professor in Business Legal Aspects at Universidad Panamericana, as well as Inheritance Law and Civil Assets and Real Rights at ITAM.
He has extensive executive experience in Telecommunications, Infrastructure, Public Works and Oil (Upstream) sectors, as well as in the structuring of corporate strategies, trusts, joint ventures, and relevant real estate projects. He has also participated as part of interdisciplinary legal teams in high- complexity litigation and dispute resolution proceedings.
As Legal Director of Mexican leading Companies, he has been involved in evaluation, structuring and analysis of relevant projects, particularly in the infrastructure sector (including roads, hospitals, airports, public and private works, industrial plants and real estate sector), financing structures and debt restructuring.
With these incorporations, RGR expands its expertise to support clients in strategic transactions, integrating specialized legal expertise with a practical understanding of business and of the regulatory, financial and corporate challenges faced by companies in processes of growth, investment and transformation.
